Biographie
Axel Fisher est architecte de formation et docteur en composition architecturale (Politecnico di Milano: 2007, 2011). Il enseigne à la Faculté d’architecture La Cambre Horta depuis 2011 (théorie du paysage, projet d’architecture). Il a été chercheur et enseignant dans plusieurs universités étrangères (Technion IIT in Haifa; Université de Liège; Habitat Unit - TU Berlin) et sous des mandats de recherche postdoctorale (F.R.S.-FNRS, WBI.World). Il a été rédacteur en chef de la revue CLARA Architecture/Recherche (2015–21), a coordonné le projet de recherche collaboratif européen MODSCAPES–Modernist Reinventions of the Rural Landscape (2016–20), et participé à la coordination du partenariat de coopération Erasmus+ NERU–New Ruralities (2022–25). Il a été commissaire scientifique de l’exposition Enter the Moden Landscape (Bozar, 2019-20) qui a été récompensé avec le prix ISDT Wernaers du FNRS pour la divulgation scientifique en 2020. Ses principaux intérêts de recherche sont les relations entre architecture, urbanisme, aménagement du territoire et modernisation rurale.Sélection de publications
